Guardian Life Insurance Limited has paid BDT 10.63 Crores in claim payment at Bima Mela 2019, which is by far the highest amount paid in Khulna Bima Mela. This claim has been paid according to the Microinsurance agreement with the international development organization, BRAC. Honorable State Minister for Labour and Employment, Begum Monnujan Sufian, MP handed over the precious cheque to Nazrul Islam, Divisional Manager (Dabi) and Shapatur Rahman, Divisional Manager (Progoti) of BRAC Khulna division.

Anwar Hossain Howlader; Joint Secretary of Financial Institutions Divisions, Md. Humaun Kobir; IDRA Member Gokul Chand Das, Borhan Uddin Ahmed and Dr. M. Mosharraf Hossain; Guardian Life CEO Mr. M M Monirul Alam, Head of Retail Business, Mahmudur Rahman Khan and Head of Marketing, Rubayat Saleheen were also present there.
